Limited (USA)(NASDAQ:RIMM) has updated the Facebook Inc(NASDAQ:FB) for
BlackBerry to 3.3. Blackberry smartphones are now available on the BlackBerry
App World, making it even easier for customers to stay connected to their
social and professional networks while on the go. The changes are designed to improve the use of Facebook on BlackBerry
devices while allowing users to more seamlessly blend the social network with
BBM. The new Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones version 3.3 includes.
The
updated Facebook for BlackBerry app brings BBM integration, which now enables users
to find their Messenger friends and start a chat via Facebook. You can share
your PIN via your Facebook wall to find out which Facebook friends are using BBM. Users can invite friends using BBM on
their Facebook to add them on BBM.
In
response to requests, with Facebook 3.3, one can now easily un-friend someone
directly from within Facebook for BlackBerry. They no longer have to use their
desktop.
As
for the new look, there are revamped icons and other goodies. Facebook 3.3 has
an exciting new look and feel with refreshed icons for navigation and status
publisher to provide easy access to all the Facebook features that keep people
connected and help them build their social network.
There
are new ways of interacting with Facebook photos. Facebook 3.3 gives
faster viewing of the photos and at a higher resolution. BB users can toggle
between full-size and thumbnail views of photos, and can now download them to
the BlackBerry handset for later use.
